Arbela’s Pichia pastoris bioprocess development service focuses on transforming our customers’ research stage strains to commercial reality. We provide a unique combination of decades worth of Pichia pastoris cultivation expertise with state-of the art fermentation, separation, and analytical equipment needed to make our customers strains ready for production.
Many university/government labs, start-ups and larger companies specialize in genetic and engineering P. pastoris strains for the expression of recombinant proteins or other fermentation products but lack the expertise or capabilities necessary to take the strain from shake flasks to the next level. Arbela helps our customers to bridge that gap by developing bioprocesses for our customers’ P. pastoris strains to enable them to move to piloting and production. We also can provide our customers back expressed protein for their internal use or for commercial sampling.
Arbela and its world leading partners offer the full complement of fermentation systems and ancillary equipment, downstream purification processes, and analytical equipment needed to take novel P. pastoris strains from the bench to pilot plant scale.
