On October 12th, Arbela Labs formally launched the Arbela Laboratories Aquaculture Innovation Support program in conjunction with Rutgers University Aquaculture Innovation Center (AIC). The AIC is among the nation’s foremost aquaculture research institutes that doubles as a commercial hatchery with a strong focus on shellfish biology, breeding, and health as well as expertise in other commercially relevant species. The program will provide the resources to conduct research relating to the use of Arbela’s Pichia pastoris yeast protein as a viable aquaculture feed.
